This or Something Better
This or something better. Ah, rejection sucks but what if I told you to instead focus on “this or something better”? I know what it’s like to feel disappointed. If you could turn your perspective around from rejection and realize it’s simply a redirection, you’ll be able to bounce back into a higher vibration much more quickly.
Rejection is simply redirection
This weekend I met up with one of my girlfriends who just ended an 18 month relationship. Break ups are hard. Matters with the heart (emotionally charged) are that much tougher – if you allow it. I’m not suggesting you just brush off a break up, however, if you could embrace the thought “this or something better” you can get out of the dumps more quickly.
Trust your journey
Think back to a time when you were disappointed. Maybe it was interviewing for a job you really wanted but didn’t get, or on the hunt for your first home and multiple failed attempts or a new relationship ended that you were super psyched about. The next time you experience a disappointment, remember this, “this or something better”.
When you’re able to embrace – this or something better – you step into a space of trusting your journey. You step into a space of knowing that the job you are supposed to get or the home you will eventually live in or the relationship you desire will be everything you want and more.
Affirmations are a great way to rewire your brain and help you out of a funk. Write this down and post it where you can see it daily: This or something better!
