Mind over matter – you’ve heard it before and there’s nothing more true. If you are in the mindset of believing anything is possible: getting a date with someone you have your eye on, getting that office with a window view, running a marathon, or for me, landing on top of a 30″ box jump, you can accomplish anything.
At first, I was shaky. I hesitated multiple times and then, I stood back, adjusted my ponytail and changed my thoughts of fear or uncertainty to pure domination and, I did it! I landed with room to spare on top of the 30″ box jump. Not on my face as I had imagined. I was in such excitement on top of that box I literally felt like I could accomplish anything.
And, I can. So can you. What fears or walls do you have up about accomplishing some goal? It could be a small goal such as not hitting the snooze button in the morning or a larger goal such as running a marathon. Why do you put these off? What’s the worst that could happen if you attempted them? If you remember anything, remember this: whatever the mind can conceive, it can be achieved.
