We’re nearing in on 2019 which inspires a lot of people. Millions to be in fact, to make New Year’s Resolutions. The only problem with these resolutions, nearly 90% of people fail. Why would you get completely stoked – and then not do the leg work to achieve your goal?
Don’t fret, you’re not alone. However, this year is different. This is your year. You might be asking, Why? As a Lifestyle Coach, I’m about getting results. I want you to get from where you are, to where you want to be. The main reasons resolutions don’t work:
- too vague
- not measurable
- no action plan
- lacking accountability
If your goal in 2019 is to lose 60 pounds and you haven’t by January 2nd, don’t give up. You didn’t gain the weight in a day, you’re not going to lose it in a day. The key to any goal is to celebrate your small wins along the way. It’s about mindset. Life is a marathon, not a sprint and remember, you have to enjoy the journey, not just the destination.
