Today is Monday, September 3rd which means it’s Labor day in both the United States and Canada. Today we celebrate the contributions that workers have made to the strength, prosperity, laws, and well-being of the country. I love that this movement was set forth back in the 1800’s and believe we could use a total refresher today.
Many people follow societal norms – go to college, get a job with benefits and a decent salary then work until the age of retirement which is now 67. I don’t believe that’s a way to live at all. My belief is that we are all here for a higher purpose, each of us having our own soul calling. By working in a monotonous job waiting for the weekend, we’re ultimately crushing our soul.
