Ho’oponopono: A Practice for Healing
Have you ever wanted a fresh start? Maybe a mulligan on life or an experience? Ho’oponopono provides you with the ability to do just that. Hoʻoponopono is a Hawaiian practice of reconciliation and forgiveness. The Hawaiian word translates into English simply as correction.
After going through my own life experiences and something in particular recently, it lead me to watching Emotion 2.0 on Amazon. I had actually watched this documentary several times before, but it was this day that the information provided on Ho’oponopono really peaked my interest.
When I do anything, I go all in. I started googling the term to learn more about it. I watched videos on YouTube. I read a couple of books and then I knew – I needed to find someone well versed in Ho’oponopono so I could bring this ancient form of healing and correction to you.
Raelin Sandon, a Ho’oponopono practitioner joined me for this interview. She shares that this practice of acceptance and releasing will bring us back into alignment with who we are. Our energy naturally flows in the direction of our thoughts. If you’ve had a negative experience or negative thinking, using Ho’oponopono can provide you with a fresh start.

Ho’oponopono is rather quite simple – by stating the follow four sentences, you are acknowledging and accepting what is happening in the present moment. This is all internal work and by healing yourself, it becomes a ripple effect for those around you as we are all connected.

Restore your energy
This simple practice brings you back to alignment with who you are. It will restore your energy and gives you a fresh start. By practicing Ho’oponopono, it shifts you out of the yuck and changes mood/perception/understanding of the circumstance. It’s important that you take 100% responsibility for everything happening in your life.
By accepting full responsibility for everything in your life and infusing it with love, you can connect back to the joy, abundance and peace that you really are. I hope you will take this lesson to heart and use it for your own healing practice.
