Expressing Gratitude For All Things
There is power in having gratitude. Gratitude is something I like to express each day. As a matter of fact, I’ve made it part of my morning routine as well as ending each day expressing gratitude for at least five things from the day for which I am grateful.
I was recently challenged to journal five pages for things I was grateful for. At first, I was thinking that was a lot to ask and wondered how I’d ever come up with that many things. It forced me to dig deep. Being grateful for food, clothing, shelter, family, friendships, money etc. is easy. But, five pages worth?! That took effort.
I had to really reflect. As I got to pages two and three I started thinking about things that didn’t go as planned such as rejection (job interviews, dating, house hunting) and found gratitude in even those experiences.
Then, I stepped into a space of being grateful for all past and present experiences. I began to really feel grateful for all of the things and experiences I have yet to be grateful for. There’s so much to look forward to!
Attitude of gratitude
By having an attitude of gratitude, it turns what we have into enough and makes space for even more. It’s choosing to change your perspective from lack (not having) to embracing all that you do have. And, if you’re like me and looooove manifesting, the best way to do that is to be grateful for what you already have.
When you step into a space of feeling gratitude for the things and experiences still to come, it sends out a vibration of it already being true. Therefore, it must manifest. When you feel the feelings of already having – that will be your outcome!
Five pages of gratitude
I hope you will take the time to sit down and write out your own five pages of things and experiences you are grateful for. Remember, it’s the good and the bad because everything has led you to today.
