5 Steps to Live in Your Full Potential
This week I’m sharing with you 5 steps to live in your full potential. Today’s podcast episode came from you – I did a poll on Instagram asking if my audience was living in their full potential. Not shockingly, 100% admitted they weren’t. The good news, you have a choice – will you step into your full potential or live in mediocrity?
The former me
That used to be me – going through life’s motions cheering on Friday and dreading Monday. I believe most of society is living this same way. Knowing that we all have limited days, why wouldn’t you go after the things you want? More than likely, fear, worry, doubt and the unknowns keep holding you back.
5 step process
I decided to sit down and create an easy 5 step process to get you out of mediocrity and into your full potential. The reason I know these steps work is because I’ve done them myself and continue to do them to uplevel. Now is your chance to implement into your routine and become who you were meant to be.
5 steps to live in your full potential:
- Resolve inner conflict
- Big hairy audacious goals
- Find a support team
- Aligned consistent action
Breaking it down
First of all, as I constantly preach about, mindset is everything. In order to get from where you are to where you want to be, you need to be honest with yourself. What’s holding you back? What inner demons do you need to face so you can step into your full potential?
Next, meditation is a practice. It’s not something you master in a short period. The good news, you can do it for as little as 3-5 minutes a day to reap the benefits. It’s about quieting the mind and connecting to your source.
In addition, setting goals is important. Big, hairy audacious goals will force you to step outside of your comfort zone. You can have results or excuses, you just can’t have both. With any type of goal, you need to know your end result and reverse engineer into small steps so you won’t quit in overwhelm.
Having a supportive tribe is everything. You can’t do this on your own. Find a mentor, coach or join a mastermind. You don’t know what you don’t know.
Finally, to get any type of result you need consistent action. I’m not talking about hustle and grind. I’m talking about aligned action.
